Retail fit-out is the most deadline-driven work in construction. The opening date is fixed before the contract is let, and every day of delay costs the tenant trading revenue and rent on an unopened unit.

An abaya retail environment places particular weight on display and lighting. Garments are dark and highly textured, which makes lighting temperature and placement decisive — the wrong specification renders the entire stock flat. Fitting rooms, display joinery and circulation all follow from how the product is shown.

Scope covered partitions, ceilings, flooring, display joinery, lighting, power and finishes, delivered as a single package to a fixed date.

What We Did

Brouj Doha delivered interior fit-out, bespoke joinery and furniture, gypsum and painting works and electrical and plumbing installation on this project, under a single contract with one site team accountable for the whole scope. Works were carried out to Qatar Construction Specifications, with engineering and QA/QC sign-off at each milestone before the following stage began.
