Slab selection and sequencing. Natural stone varies between slabs from the same block. Laying without sequencing produces a floor that looks patched. We select and lay in sequence so the veining runs as intended.
Substrate preparation. Most marble failures are substrate failures — hollowness, cracking and lippage almost always trace back to what was underneath.
Joint discipline. Consistent, minimal joints are the difference between stone that looks installed and stone that looks fitted.
Edge and transition detail. Thresholds, reveals and changes of material are where a job is judged by anyone who knows what to look for.
Protection. Stone installed early and left unprotected through the rest of the programme arrives at handover damaged. We protect and clean down at the end.
Marble rarely sits in isolation. It meets gypsum at the ceiling, joinery at the wardrobes, and paint at every edge. Because our gypsum and painting and joinery teams are in-house, those junctions are planned rather than negotiated on site.
