Mixed-use buildings have to satisfy two different sets of requirements in one structure. Retail at ground level needs shopfront glazing, high floor-to-ceiling height, separate servicing and independent metering. Residential above needs acoustic separation, privacy and its own access.

The interface between them is where these buildings succeed or fail: fire separation, acoustic isolation of the retail slab, and services that are genuinely independent so a shop fit-out never disturbs the apartments above.

The building sits in Fereej Bin Mahmoud, where the mix of residential and commercial activity makes this format well suited to the district.

What We Did

Brouj Doha delivered civil and structural works, interior fit-out, electrical and plumbing installation and curtain wall and ACP cladding on this project, under a single contract with one site team accountable for the whole scope. Works were carried out to Qatar Construction Specifications, with engineering and QA/QC sign-off at each milestone before the following stage began.
