Well we’re movin’ on up to the east side. To a deluxe apartment in the sky. The weather started getting rough – the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew the Minnow would be lost. the Minnow would be lost. We’re gonna do it. On your mark get set and go now. Got a dream and we just know now we’re gonna make our dream come true. I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you. I’ve always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

A games hall is a long-span structure, and the span drives everything. Clear internal space without columns means steel or long-span concrete, with the roof structure carrying lighting, ventilation and services across the whole area.

Sports environments need durable impact-resistant surfaces, glare-free lighting at the right levels for play, acoustic treatment to control reverberation in a large hard-surfaced volume, and ventilation sized for high activity levels in a hot climate.

This is the second project delivered by Brouj Doha for Mr. Ibrahim Al Asmakh, alongside the mosque.

  • Separate access and prayer provision planned from the outset
  • Craftsmanship in mihrab detailing, marble and ceiling geometry
  • Cooling a high-volume space used intensively at fixed times

What We Did

Brouj Doha delivered civil and structural works, HVAC installation, electrical and plumbing installation and curtain wall and ACP cladding on this project, under a single contract with one site team accountable for the whole scope. Works were carried out to Qatar Construction Specifications, with engineering and QA/QC sign-off at each milestone before the following stage began.
