A contract spanning two years, covering excavation, levelling and site extension works in Unaizah.

Work running across that period is managed differently from a short package. Resources are planned against a longer programme, site conditions change with the seasons, and the relationship with the main contractor becomes continuous rather than transactional.

This was the second contract Brouj Doha delivered for QBC, following the Al Sailiya works in 2022.

Project Challenge

  • Shallow rock appearing with little warning
  • Locating live services before breaking ground
  • Compaction in specified lifts with testing at each stage
  • Avoiding undermining adjacent existing foundations
  • Excavating to the level the following trade actually needs
  • Disposal and reuse of excavated material

What We Did

Brouj Doha delivered excavation and earthworks on this project, under a single contract with one site team accountable for the whole scope. Works were carried out to Qatar Construction Specifications, with engineering and QA/QC sign-off at each milestone before the following stage began.
